Clapping Rhythm Patterns
Foam Popsicle sticks found at the Dollar Store work well for creating rhythm patterns. The quarter rests were cut out of sheets of craft foam. A circle-shaped pipe cleaner works great for making the half note and whole note.
After the children create their patterns,
we use instruments and travel around to play our friend’s pattern.
